Comma, Comma, Comma.....
Rule of Commas.... Even though I've had years of schooling on this subject, I still have troubles knowing when, and where to put the commas. Hopefully this rule will help you too, as it helped me too.
Use commas to separate independent clauses when they are joined by any of these seven coordinating conjunctions: and, but, for, or, nor, so, yet.
The game was over, but the crowd refused to leave.
The student explained her question, yet the instructor still didn't seem to understand.
Yesterday was her brother's birthday, so she took him out to dinner.

Ya I learned about the fanboys last sememster but I didn't catch the whole seperating independant clauses thing. That is where I think I have the most problem with my writing is discerning between the two. Most people think writing with comma's is easy, but it is in fact hard. I used a comma just barely. I hope I did it right.
